exploring life like it’s my job>>

I’ve lived many lives, but the thread that runs through them all is story.
Story as language. Story as sound. Story as image. Story as memory. Story as survival.
I was born in Tehran, in a home where art and spirit were inseparable.
My father was the pujari of the city’s only Hindu temple—a quiet revolutionary in saffron robes.
My mother painted what could not be spoken, giving form to the unseen.
Our home moved to an ancient rhythm: incense and turmeric in the air, mantras in the walls, a hum beneath the everyday.
We traveled often to India, where bells, chants, and street music became part of my earliest vocabulary.
I learned young: story lives beyond words. It can shimmer in sound, gesture, texture, image. It connects us to what is larger and older than ourselves.
One of the most pivotal moments in my life came years later, on a visit to my grandmother in Iran.
She took me to her dearest friend’s home—two women who had been friends for over fifty years. Her friend led me from room to room, showing me objects gathered from her life’s travels—each one with a story behind it.
In that house, I understood: stories live in everything. In objects, in spaces, in the lives we touch.
That visit shaped me. Ever since, I’ve moved through the world as a collector of stories.
When we emigrated to America, the symmetry of my childhood ruptured—suburbia, fluorescent lights, a new language, a new noise.
But that rupture only deepened my impulse to create meaning.
Over the years, I’ve expressed this through many forms:
🌹 I built brands and helped others tell their stories
🌹 Hosted a podcast that reached millions
🌹 DJed live radio
🌹Composed with plants
🌹 Studied sound at Berklee
🌹 Wrote a book rooted in transformation
For me, storytelling is fluid. It moves across mediums—sound, image, text, object, experience.
It isn’t about choosing a lane. It’s about following the pulse of meaning wherever it leads.
Today, I live at the intersection of cinema and sound, memory and reinvention, softness and fire.
You’ll find me writing, composing, curating, collaborating, crafting stories that invite us not just to consume, but to feel, to remember, to imagine.
If you, too, are standing on the brink of your own next chapter—ready to create something bold and true—you’re in good company.
Welcome. Let’s tune in, turn it up, and see where the story takes us.
